DESCRIPTION:Melrose Abbey is the new name of the wedding event business at 3931 Washington\, the former Broadway Baptist Church. The current owners got a special use permit from the city in 2022 to operate as a wedding and event venue with four on-site hotel rooms.  They are now applying for that special use permit to be renewed. The owners are required to have a public meeting to gather input. That meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on March 22 in person at the Plaza library or via zoom. \nAfter the public meeting\, the City Plan Commission will hold a hearing on the special use permit on April 2 and the Board of Zoning Adjustment will consider it on April 9. This letter contains the details.

The survey records the date of construction\, early residents (when known) and history of every structure within the area.
