DESCRIPTION:General Meeting \nUptown Theater Encore Room \nTopics:\nTopics: East-West Transit Study\, development updates\, community garden\, dumpsters\, 4th of July plans\, Word on the Street \nLearn about the East-West Transit at General Meeting June 22 \nAt our June 22 meeting\, you’ll have a chance to learn about a new transportation study into ways to link the Truman Sport Complex to the University of Kansas Health System\, using a streetcar\, bus rapid transit or other bus services. One of the corridors being studied is 39th Street through Valentine; other corridors including Linwood\, 31st\, and Armour are also among those being considered. \nPlanners will be at our general meeting to explain the goals of the study and get input from Valentine residents. \nYou may also want to participate in a survey eliciting feedback about transit needs and priorities is available on the project website (http://eastwesttransit.org) and open through Friday\, June 17\, 2022.
