DESCRIPTION:Agenda \n\nPenn Valley Community College and the neighborhood\n4th of July plans\nMoney market vote – The board will ask the general membership to vote on a proposal to invest some of our savings into a money market account at NBKC bank\, while keeping enough in our checking account to cover annual operating expenses.\nWashington Street closure – request for people to join a committee to plan for improvements to drainage and more environmentally-friendly plantings at Washington Street and Valentine\nDrainage issues on Jefferson – residents north of Valentine Road have complained about water runoff issues. The board needs more information so we can figure out how we can try to tackle the problem. Bring your input to the meeting or email us in advance with your description of the problem.\nPorchfest Update\nSafety Update from KCPD\nWord on the Street: Your chance to share ideas\, ask questions and suggest topics for upcoming meetings\n\nAbsentee Voting: Members who are unable to attend meetings at which a vote will be held may vote by email. Votes submitted by email must be received by the board at email@valentineneighborhood.com at least two hours prior to the scheduled meeting.
