Capital Electric Company is applying for a special use permit to use the property at 3329 Summit for outdoor storage. The equipment is being stored for the Kansas City Streetcar extension on Main Street. The request will go to the city plan commission on Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. Before that hearing, the company is required to have a public meeting to inform neighbours and the neighborhood about its intentions.
