Valentine is served by the Central Patrol Division of the Kansas City Police Department. Central Patrol wants to hear from residents about how it can provide the best service to residents and businesses and to solve quality of life and crime issues. A meeting is set for Thursday, July 20 at 6 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Temple, 1330 East Linwood. The department says it plans on continuing its conversation on how KCPD can provide the best possible service to residents and businesses.  Members of the 38th and Washington Task Force will be attending to raise concerns about that area.
