Roanoke Park is looking better and better thanks to the crews of volunteers who have been clearing out bush honeysuckle. This month Scott Burnett’s crew plans to clear out the slope north of Madison. The efforts are part of the Roanoke Park Conservancy, a nonprofit that advocates for completion of the park master plan. It is made up of a core of interested neighbors and volunteers who have slowly been clearing out invasive plants and bringing the park back to its original splendor.  Meet at Madison Ave, east of Karnes Playground.
