We are excited to welcome the Clay Guild to our neighborhood, as they refurbish the old Salvation Army building at 500 W. 39th Street. The guild has invited Valentine residents to a hard hat tour on May 12, 18 or 19th.

Here’s the message from Director Louis Reilley.

“We are working on raising our final $1m and currently have a $500,000 matching grant with $300,000 remaining to match. If any of your members have an interest in learning more about our programming and mission, please feel free to connect them with me.

We are still set to open for programming in August and will have a grand opening the same weekend as Westport Art Fair.

We are hosting a series of hard hat tours in a few weeks, if anyone from the neighborhood would like to attend.  If any of your members are interested in attending they can register here:
